Our audiences

 

Our vast network of industry and audience experts have lived experience of the issues we cover. We collaborate with them to create programmes and campaigns that are relevant and useful to our audiences.

  • Young people

    We create content for young people aged 3-25, and we value their opinion as consumers. It’s why we’ve put together a passionate Youth Insight Panel who provide a voice for their peers across the UK. We use them to generate inspiration, test ideas and evaluate the end result, so we know that it works for the audience it’s been created for. We don’t ask them to do it for free, either. We pay at least UK Living Wage for their time, or offer them the chance to learn skills that will make them more attractive to employers.

  • Families

    We know that getting young people excited about their future starts at home. We work with parent/guardian panels to create content designed to engage the whole family and encourage parents to have open discussions with their children about career choices. We want to give young people the knowledge they need to make the right choices right now.

  • Communities

    Our work goes beyond the classroom and into the community. We know that different communities face different challenges, and we’re passionate about supporting vulnerable groups. We work with specialist partners who have hands-on experience supporting a range of needs and offering local knowledge. We’ve worked with organisations such as Care Leavers Covenant, Jobcentre+, HMP Leeds and YMCA to provide tailored content.

  • Educators

    No one is better placed to inform and give feedback on the latest challenges and developments facing the education sector than the teachers and consultants working in the industry. That’s why we’ve created a network of experts to collaborate on our work to ensure programmes represent the communities they serve. Our experts’ input and feedback ensure our work strikes the right balance between innovation and feasibility, for both remote and classroom delivery.
